SSL

Création de la clé privée

  • On se place dans le dossier /etc/ssl/private qui contient les clés et certificats privées :

cd /etc/ssl/private

  • On génère la clé privée :

sudo openssl genrsa -out ca.key 2048

Cette clé va nous permettre de signer nos propres certificats.

Création du certificat auto-signé

  • On lance la création de certificat auto-signé :

openssl req -new -x509 -nodes -days 500 -key ca.key -out ca.crt
You are about to be asked to enter information that will be incorporated
into your certificate request.
What you are about to enter is what is called a Distinguished Name or a DN.
There are quite a few fields but you can leave some blank
For some fields there will be a default value,
If you enter '.', the field will be left blank.
